We are, Yambuko Counselling & Psychotherapy Practice
Supporting you through life’s challenges.
Sometimes we find ourselves stuck between where we are and where we want to be. Yambuko is a person-centred counselling and psychotherapy practice supporting people through challenges, emotional difficulty and periods of transition, helping them to cross over.

From where you are, to where you want to be
Life can be hard-hitting, and there are times when we all need a safe space to make sense of what we’re carrying. My practice offers support to individuals looking to work through issues such as anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-worth and life changes.
I offer a warm, empathic and non-judgemental space to explore what’s happening in your world at your own pace. With the right support, we can all move towards better versions of ourselves.
I will help you by using trained counselling and psychotherapy methods to deepen your self-understanding and support the changes that follow. I will also help you find your own solutions – whether that’s making effective changes in your life or finding ways of coping with your problems. The counselling work is short-term and geared towards supporting you in navigating a specific challenge, helping you to clarify your thoughts and feelings.
If what you are experiencing feels more longstanding or complex, psychotherapy sessions go deeper, exploring past experiences, unconscious patterns and long-standing beliefs that shape current behaviour and mental health.
